"Chase Web" Paintings
These romanticized works are my "altered ego" paintings. Because they are so different from my regular work, I have adopted a mom d’plum….”Chase Web”. Done in a Fauve-Expressionist style, these paintings pay homage to the style of early 20th century Cubist/Expressionists like Andre Derain and Amidei Modigliani. Done in a more stylized, graphic manner, they are painted with a more limited palette and capture lighter, romanticized subjects. These have been very popular, with originals selling quickly.
